IRORI Scanning Stations

X-Kan™-100 Scanning Station

IRORI has now added the X-Kan-100 system to its exclusive line of Directed Sorting tools. The X-Kan-100 System is used with X-Kan microreactors. X-Kans are designed for use with a ceramic 2D laser-etched bar-coded cap that tracks each Kan through the Directed Sorting synthesis process for discrete compounds (no mixtures).

AccuTag™-100 Scanning Station

The AccuTag-100 System is designed for use with radiofrequency (Rf) tagged microreactors. Kans are loaded with resin and an Rf tag, leaving enough space for the resin to swell and still remain loose within the Kan. The glass-encased miniature radiofrequency Rf tag provides a unique ID for each microreactor and therefore each compound.

The X-Kan-100 and AccuTag-100 Systems Provide:

  • Discrete compounds (no mixtures)
  • Multi-milligram quantities of each compound
  • High productivity
  • Non-invasive labeling of compounds
  • Total flexibility in chemical synthesis
  • Total flexibility in library design (e.g. sparse matrices)
  • Logical way to start-up and scale-up a combinatorial chemistry program
