Automated Sorting Stations

Automated Sorting Stations have been designed to extend the Directed Sorting technique for use with libraries in the range of several 100’s to several 1000’s of compounds. By automating the reaction and cleavage sorting operations, the automated sorter is capable of handling large libraries of discrete compounds rapidly and efficiently.

X-Kan™-10K Sorting Station

By reading the ceramic 2D-coded caps, the X-Kan-10K Automated Sorting Station keeps track of X-Kans when they are split into groups for the next synthesis step or directly into plates for cleavage. An automated barcode reader scans each cleavage plate. The ID of each Kan and each cleavage plate are saved in a database. The X-Kan-10K Sorter sorts over 1000 Kans per hour and provides up to 56 splits in one sorting pass. For larger splits, Synthesis Manager Software will recycle the excess Kans for a second sorting pass.

When ready for cleavage, the sorter will place X-Kans into cleavage plates in either random or pre-assigned locations.

AutoSort™-10K Sorting Station

The AutoSort-10K Sorting Station is designed to sort Rf-tagged microreactor libraries in the range of several 100’s to several 1000’s of compounds. By automating the reaction and cleavage sorting operations, the AutoSort-10K is capable of handling large libraries of discrete compounds rapidly and efficiently. The AutoSort-10K automatically sorts over 1000 microreactors per hour in up to 48 separate locations.
