Automated Cleavage and Evaporation Stations
The IRORI Clevap Station completely automates the solvent dispensing, cleavage, transfer, and dry down process. In addition to X-Kans and MicroKans the system can also handle Mimotopes “A” series lanterns. The Clevap automates the dispensing of the cleavage cocktail and allows for several reagent additions or rinse steps. It transfers the cleaved compound to a collection plate using centrifugal force and evaporates off the cleavage and rinse solvents at a controlled, user adjustable temperature. The operator simply loads cleavage reagents, X-Kan loaded Clevap plates and collection plates, then starts the cleavage protocol. When the programmed cycles are complete, the compounds will have been cleaved, transferred to the collection plates and completely dried down.
The location of each compound is automatically tracked seamlessly through the process and is readily available from the database.
Clevap Station
The Clevap Station holds 24 plates of 48 Kans (1152 compounds). Clevap plates are joined with standard deep well plates prior to placing them in the Clevap Station.
Diversity at cleavage is a special feature that automatically organizes compounds with different cleavage procedures into common plates and Clevap runs. Washer and cleavage procedures are as easy as point and click.
Following synthesis, the library of Kans is washed then sorted into bar-coded 48-well Clevap plates. The Clevap plates are combined with the final collection plates and placed into the Clevap Station. The library of compounds will ultimately be automatically dried down in collection plates following cleavage, rinsing, and transfer of the compounds from the Clevap plates to the collection plates.
